THE BEAUTY OF ICONS:

a Lenten Icon-Painting Workshop

This unique ecumenical workshop is open for beginners who are interested in painting (writing) a Christian Byzantine-style icon of the face of Christ over the course of six weeks. The workshop will offer a basic introduction to icon history and explore the basics of painting with traditional organic pigments using egg tempera. This is a beautiful and prayerful way to prepare for Easter.

COST: $165. (includes prepared board and all materials in class)

Keri Wiederspahn received her BFA in Fine Art from Parsons School of Design, NYC. She is the founder of Creative Hands Art Studio & Atelier of Madison, NJ that grew during her commitment over a decade to serve over 350 art students a week in three locations for ages three through adult.
