Rowland's work in teaching, instructional and program design, advising/mentoring, and administration seeks to bridge the distance and deepen the relationship between people and place.
Our words can change the world. Beyond creating his own radical (”to the root”) and transformational writing and art, he seeks to inspire and encourage other’s personal discovery, interpersonal insight, and planetary service through teaching and mentoring; editing; conference/event planning; and facilitation of creative communities.
About Whole Terrain:Whole Terrain, Journal of Reflective Environmental Practice, began as a student internship through Antioch University New England's Environmental Studies Department in 1992. Each year, Whole Terrain brings together new and established writers, poets and artists together with environmental professionals and students and faculty from around the world to engage with a compelling theme exploring ecological and social issues with literary verve.
